ENTRANCE TO THE MUSEUM
The visitor will find a selection of panels, which illustrate, by means of pictures, the story of JK. In these panels, visitors can review the highlights of his political career, casual scenes of his personal life and vigorous record of the construction of many of his dreams.

hall
Furnished with arraiolo carpet offered by the ladies of Diamantina, the hall has four research terminals, "touch screens", which present the story of President JK in Portuguese and English.

ROOM OF TARGETS
You can see panels with pictures of JK’s works representing the five major groups which divided his 30 goals - energy, transportation, food, basic industry and education. In this area, you will also find a life-size oil portrait of President Juscelino Kubitschek painted by Candido Portinari in 1956. There is also an enlargement of the famous farewell letter, written in 1961 by the President, and addressed to the Brazilian people, on his departure from government.

PRESIDENT JK'S PRIVATE LIBRARY
The office that belonged to the former President, with his furniture and part of his library. There are more than 3,000 volumes, including areas such as history, medicine, economics, politics, art, law, biographies, and other technical books. The highlight is a collection of the works of Shakespeare, a gift from the Queen of England to President Kubitschek.

D. SARAH'S OFFICE
Decorated with panels that tell the story of the construction of the Memorial, this area is used to welcome officials who come to visit and pay homage to former President Kubitschek.

AFFONSO HELIODORO DOS SANTOS RESEARCH ROOM
The study room has a complete historical archive on the JK period - biography of President Juscelino Kubitschek, speeches, documents on the construction of Brasilia, on the Pan-American Operation, data on the Target Program and Operation Northeast - Sudene. A research tool, the library expanded its archive thanks to the donation of valuable encyclopedias and literary works.

Márcia Kubitschek AUDITORIUM
The auditorium is equipped with a multimedia booth and a grand piano. At the rear, a panel illustrates various historical moments of the President. Three hundred and ten seats form the letter K and allow the viewer a broad view of the space. In this area, musical performances, theater, films and documentaries, lecture series, choir presentations etc. are presented. The Memorial has held various events such as conferences, graduation ceremonies, book launches and corporate events, among others.

MORTUARY CHAMBER
Located in the center of the Memorial, this is the culmination of the visit to the monument. The Chamber receives natural light through stained glass designed by Marianne Peretti, reflecting different shades of color depending on the position of the sun or the light intensity. The tomb has the inscription "The Founder" and floats in the center of the Chamber. Therein lie the remains of President Juscelino Kubitschek. The hall induces prayer, reverence and respect for the leader that represented an immense confidence in the greatness of our country.

MUSEUM
Consisting of commendations, plaques, photos, awards, personal objects, material evidence that has survived, and three large panels illustrating the epic construction of Brasilia in three stages: the first visit to the Highlands in October 1956, the inauguration of its meta-synthesis, and the lively city, built and inhabited - realizing the dream of Brazilians. Also in the collection are the jacket worn by JK at the inaugural ball in February 1956, at the Itamaraty Palace, Rio de Janeiro, the replica of the dress worn by Dona Sarah at the same event, and JK’s uniform of Colonel of the Medical Military Police of Minas.

JK CAFE
It offers the traditional cheese bread from Minas for those who want a few more moments to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the Museum.

SOUVENIRS
On the way out, at the end of the visit, the tourist can buy in the souvenir shop, a souvenir of the Memorial.
